Cremation Merchandise
With every cremation there will be two selections that need to be made. The first is what the deceased will be placed in prior to the cremation; this is in lieu of a burial casket. We have a variety of cremation caskets to choose from, which look very similar to burial caskets but are constructed differently for cremation, and an alternative container that may be considered.
The second selection is what the cremated remains will be placed in after the cremation. We carry a wide variety of urns that are constructed for permanent memorialization and a variety of urns for temporary memorialization prior to scattering. If an urn is not selected, the cremated remains will be returned in a temporary container constructed of cardboard.

Cremation Caskets & Alternative Containers
Our cremation caskets are made of the same quality wood that our burial caskets are made from. The difference is that the cremation casket is designed specifically to be cremated. Any wooden burial casket could also be selected for cremation; however, cremation caskets are not constructed for burial.
Our alternative container is constructed of both composite and solid wood components. There is no law requiring the purchase of a casket for cremation; however, our crematory does have a minimum requirement of an alternative container for cremation.

Urns
Urns are constructed of metal, stone, wood, ceramics and biodegradable materials. Many of the urns may be personalized.

Urn Vaults
Urn Vaults are protective containers in which urns are commonly placed. In many cases, where families desire to bury the urn-encapsulated remains of their loved one, cemeteries will require the use of an urn vault. Much like burial vaults for caskets, urn vaults protect the urn from being crushed, and protect the ground above them from caving in over time.
