Joseph Michael Garrity (92), loving husband of Agnes Garrity and son of the late Michael and Julia Garrity, died on February 13, 2013. Formerly of Bethesda, MD, Joseph was a Cement Product Manager and retired from Lockheed Martin. He is survived by three daughters, Mary (John) Short of Rhode Island, Patsy (Charley) Prunkl of Delaware and Sheila Garrity of Baltimore, MD and four granddaughters, Kirstin Short (Jeff Hamilton) of Houston, TX, Anne Short of Boston, MA, Beth Prunkl and Kate Prunkl of Richmond, VA; and great-grandson Beckett Hamilton. Joe's brother Edward Garrity and sister Gladys Becker, both of Long Island, NY also survive him. Joe was predeceased in death by brothers William, John and Thomas Garrity and sister Mary Asthalter.
