Elizabeth Victoria Visbal
Elizabeth Victoria Visbal, 88, died on February 6th at her daughter Alison's home in Damascus, Maryland, after a long bout with cancer. Lisa lived in the Washington area for 20 years and most recently resided in South Bethany Beach, DE. She will be loved and remembered by all for her generous spirit, optimistic outlook, and love of life and God. A 1952 graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Fine Arts, Lisa was an accomplished painter, piano player, and vocalist; more importantly, she was a phenomenal wife and mother who deeply loved her children. A devout Catholic, she was married for 35 years to her beloved Ralph A. Visbal who died in 1987. She had since remained a widow and is survived by her children Mark, Jonathan, Alison, and Kristen and grandchildren Marcus, Ashley, Kristiina, Linnea, Carl, and Ian. A funeral will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 11th at St. Raphael's Church, 1592 Kimblewick Road, Rockville, MD. A Memorial Service will also be held at 10 AM on Saturday, February 16th at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE.
