On-Site Crematory

Robert A. Pumphrey Funeral Homes is the only Montgomery County funeral home that has an on-site crematory. This enables us to be able to control the process from start to finish. Our crematory staff is professionally trained by the manufacturer and handles each cremation with the utmost care. All of this gives our families peace of mind knowing their loved one never leaves our care.

We serve many faiths that have a long tradition following to the place of cremation. With our crematory on-site in our Bethesda funeral home, we are able to offer a funeral service with immediate access to the crematory. Due to our ability to offer this service, we have become very well accustomed to the Hindu and Buddhist rituals.

Families are able to witness part of the cremation process here at our funeral home, even when a funeral service is not selected.
